Unlock your creativity with a Mosaic class
Learn the beautiful craft of mosaic in a friendly atmosphere. I run day and evening classes suitable for all ages and levels of ability. The workshops are very hands-on. You will leave with a finished piece and a good understanding of how to do mosaics. No previous experience is necessary and a wonderful array of colored tiles and broken china are available for you to play with. Support is here to overcome any fears, find ideas, and get started. More advanced assistance and technical advice are delivered as required. The homemade delicious lunch is part of the great experience to give you a day to remember.
The process of making mosaics is deeply therapeutic with the added bonus of being creative in a group. I recommend it thoroughly as a way to de-stress and unwind and at a more profound level a way to understand our own creative process. A big part of the workshop is to help you develop your creativity. The textures and colors and immediacy of working with mosaics allow a simple avenue for the artist in us to express itself. I firmly believe all of us are creative and everyone can make a beautiful piece of work they are proud of so I welcome confident or terrified and will tailor the day to your needs.
I run the workshops in a lovely house and the workshops are small and intimate with a maximum of 6 people so that each person gets the support needed. If a bigger or corporate workshop (up to 10 at this venue) is required I have a wonderful creative team to assist me. Children are also very welcome. I can accommodate larger numbers at other venues or I can bring the workshop/party to your house, I can work with groups of up to 50 people in the workplace or school.
DAY WORKSHOPS DATES in SUSSEX 2024 . Sunday the 21st of April Please email me with your preferred dates and I will be adding more dates soon. Full Day Times: 10 am -4.30 pm Each day is complete itself but a two-day course is a wonderful way of embarking on a more ambitious project with support all the way through. I will do two consecutive days if requested and if I have a minimum of 3 people. Price: £125 per day or £210 for two days, ( two days can be done a week or month apart) that includes all the materials and a wonderful gourmet organic home-cooked lunch, snacks, unlimited tea and coffee, and juice. It’s a fabulous day out.Children from 5-14 years old can accompany adults for 20% off. (Children are usually better with half-day sessions.)
Afternoon Taster session 2.30 pm-5.30 pm for £65 (taken on any all-day workshop).Gift vouchers are available.
Mosaic Team building events and parties
Enhance your party or team-building event, experience a 90 min taster or 3-hour Mosaic workshop, also ideal for birthday parties, pre-wedding (Hen and Stag) or office parties, or corporate events. Up to 10 people at my venue, larger numbers can be accommodated elsewhere. I have a trained team of teachers and we can teach up to 50 people at one time in your Venue. Delicious healthy party food or a gourmet organic lunch can be arranged. Prices: starting from £25 a head for 90 min for a children’s party or £60 a head for a 3-hour workshop. Party food or lunch is extra. Everyone will leave with a small beautiful finished mosaic.
